Welcome to a sample podcast created by myself, Bianca, Lucas, Alex, and Max. Throughout this process we learnt a lot! We shared many laughs and some frustrations while recording and editing and speaking for myself now I kind of want to start a podcast. I discovered the podcast room in the basement of the library which was kitted out pretty well, Lucas and Alex took the lead on learning how to use the Rhodcaster machine. Unfortunately, on day one of recording there was a mix up and we got kicked out after an hour however we were able to book it for later in the week. After downloading the 10+ files to my computer I started editing and oh my goodness. I have used the program Audacity before but I usually recorded right into the program, putting files into the program made it more complex as I had to splice audio together and since we all had different mics at different volume levels I had to sort through that. Even though it took upwards of 4 hours to edit I am really happy with the skills I learnt on editing audio and recording on professional grade equipment.
